What You Need to Know to Lead or Participate in a Project
Learn the fundamentals of project management and how to lead or participate in a project with our course entitled, “Another Project? Where Do We Start? What You Need to Know to Lead or Participate in a Project”. Our course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
Program Format
This program is delivered via Zoom. The instructor provides Zoom sign-in and/or web link for each class session. Class consists of four (4), 2-hour sessions twice a week, for two (2) weeks (totaling 8 hours of instruction)

*Eligible for 8 PDUs for existing PMI certs or 8 Educational Units*
Course Objectives
Implement the “best practices” of project management in the workplace, e.g. Project and Team Charter, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Milestone Schedule by working in teams or individually on a project scenario
Increase productivity by managing projects effectively
Speak and understand industry-standard Project Management and Agile lexicon
Become a more productive and qualified project manager or team member
Gain a high level of understanding of project management and what would be required to lead and manage a project on time and within budget

Implement project management best practices
Develop and utilize team charters
Understand and apply PM and Agile terminology
Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Understand the Scrum cycle and its ceremonies
Gain a comprehensive understanding of what constitutes project management
